Christmas House 2012

Hello. Today, I'm finally posting pics of my LR and hall bath.






















I kept the window on the mantle that I had used for fall, and just added the green and red.

This is the door into the sun room. I haven't finished in there yet.

The hall bath got a few Christmas touches, too.

Hmmm! I debated whether to show this picture or not. Did I REALLY want to show my "john"?? :)

Reds of the Season

I love this primitive sign. Does anybody know where I can get one?

It’s Rednesday

Hello, Bloggy friends.  I have fallen in love with "Greengate" products. They seem to love red as much as I do.





This picture and the one above are pillow covers you can buy.  They are both on my wish list.
(They don't come cheap :)

Some of their other products. Love the polka dots and flowers.

Here's a little clock I did purchase. I had to order it from England, but you can find some of their stuff in other places, too, like Ebay.

Here's a red and white quilt I recently found reduced to $25!!! Yes! It was definitely coming home with me.

Decorating The Dollhouse

Hello, Bloggy Friends. Halloween is almost here and Mrs. Dollhouse has added a few touches in the LR for the occasion.

Here's her fall mantle...................

And here's the way it looks for Halloween. I love the spooky plates she added.

She also added a few Fall touches to the coffee table. Oops! I see she has already beeen reading and getting ideas for Christmas.  :)

Mrs. D asks you to excuse the icky wallpaper and flooring. She is working on it, trying to pick out a pattern she likes.



Look! She was excited to find wood flooring under the carpet upstairs. :) :)
She plans to refinish it soon.

I also wanted to show you how well last year's mum is still doing. I'm so proud of him , and can't believe he's blooming so pretty again for me this year

Before & After Pumpkin

HELLO, BLOGGY FRIENDS. HERE'S A CUTE PUMPKIN CRAFT WE DID ON OUR LAKE MICHIGAN TRIP.


THIS WAS ONE OF OUR MODELS. EVERYBODY ADDED THEIR OWN PERSONALITY TO THEIRS, AND THEY TURNED OUT REALLY CUTE.

WE STUFFED A FISH NET HOSE AROUND THE PUMPKIN, BASTED THE TOP, ADDED RIBBON/RAFFIA, ETC.  THEN SNIPPED A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE AND CUT IT AS WIDE AS WE WANTED. SIMPLE AND FUN!
