Trees of Christmas at Merrehope
"Merrehope", is Meridian's beautiful antebellum home. Every year, it hosts "The Trees of Christmas"
I toured it today and wanted to show you some pictures of it. This is the front parlor.
The red glass in the door is original to the house.
Dining Room
I love the colors they used in here.
Decorating in DR was done by a local decorating shop.
This was my favorite room. When a wedding is held here, the bride uses this room to dress, etc.
This year's theme was Movies and Broadway Musicals. Each tree is dedicated to one movie. This tree's movie was "Legally Blonde" It's pink because that was El's favorite color.
They did the whole room with El's stuff. See her glasses and computer?
Here's here "Harvard" banner and BIG pink rollers! :)
This tree was "Yankee Doodle Dandy" Ornaments are made by local students.
This room and tree was from "The Secret Garden" It was really pretty.
Love that sunny bay window.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. I'm joining Beverly for "Pink Saturday" today. Thanks for stopping by.
Also showing my "Home for the Holidays" so this is the kitchen and table for this year.
The centerpiece is mostly thrift store finds from this year.
(Oops! I forgot to take off the $1.00 sign from the Santa plate :)
I wanted to add a tree to the sunroom this year. Old red quilt pillows are a recent, wonderful find, and they were a great price, too.
I SINCERELY HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AND GOOD NEW YEAR

Christmas in the DR
Table is set for Christmas in the DR
I've used my favorite color of the season, of course. :)
I'm finally getting to use my Geese for a centerpiece.
I just recently hung this shelf over the server.
Oops! Just ignore that random cup sitting there. :)
My new chalkboard. I wanted to do one of the cute print outs that lots of people are doing this year, but I had to settle for this "artwork" from the grandgirls. :)
I'm joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Susan's for all the fun!

Christmas House 2012
Hello. Today, I'm finally posting pics of my LR and hall bath.
I kept the window on the mantle that I had used for fall, and just added the green and red.
This is the door into the sun room. I haven't finished in there yet.
The hall bath got a few Christmas touches, too.
Hmmm! I debated whether to show this picture or not. Did I REALLY want to show my "john"?? :)
Entry way vignette.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm joining "Wow Us Wednesday" today. Thanks, Kim!
Reds of the Season
Hi, I'm joining "Rednesday" for some reds I've spotted here and there this season. Thanks, Sue.
I love this primitive sign. Does anybody know where I can get one?
A house using RED for Christmas. I loved the front porch. Those are covers for rocking chairs.
This was the side yard of the house.
This was a side door.
Courtyard of the same house. It was for sale by the way. :)
House in Franklin, TN. The red flag means it was used as a hospital during the Civil War/
Vintage metal tray I just found.
Vintage S&P Santas
I'm so glad you stopped by today. I will be posting pictures of my house decorations soon.
