Hello, sweet bloggers! Last week I posted my first tablescape, and two commenters suggested that for the next one, I just add to and tweak it somewhat. So that's what I did.
Remember last week's? Kinda plain and lacking, right? (I agree)
Well, I went back to T J Maxx and bought the matching cups. I also used the napkins that match the tablecloth. I think this set is so cute. I bought it from Retro-Redheads because I liked it so much on a post from Cynthia's Cottage Design. (Love her blog). I also added the utensils. (Hope I put everything in the right order hehehehe)
Much better, I think (hope :)
Strawberry tart anyone? I'm sure it would be delicious if it was real.
This red apron was a gift many years ago. I thought it matched quite nicely with this tablescape.
So here it is. Thanks SO much for stopping by. You don't know how much I appreciate it, being a new blogger and all. :) :) :) Be sure and stop by Susan's at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ to see more beautiful tablescapes.
Here it is. Don't worry, I KNOW there's no chargers, dinner plates, no cute napkins or napkin rings, and even no silverware. But I'm still not unpacked all the way and don't know where half my stuff is. (<---------lame excuse :-) I bet all you "professional" tablescapers know exactly what to put with it to make it so polished and cute.......especially our gracious hostess, Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch. :) Please see more tablescapes over there.
This black and white hen was my inspiration piece. TJ Maxx for (I can't remember how much) Found yesterday.
The black and white polka dot salad plates, I found at TJ Maxx also for about $2.99 ea. I think
The wire basket, I found yesterday at a local flea market for $2.
So here it is. My first ever tablescape. How'd I do? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. :)
Like me as a redhead? Well, I think I did this post in reverse and I don't know how to fix it. I have more pics, but I can't seem to find them right now. Thanks for visiting my blog!!!!!:)
Here's Lisa in the stocks at Williamsburg.
They don't give you much to eat on the "High Tea" either. Here's Lisa thinking "Here's mine, now where's Donna's?" It was delicious though.
LOL! Please bare with me folks!
Ooops! Here's the same pic and I don't know how to delete it.
We stopped at this little tea room because it advertised "High Tea" on the menu besides the regular fair. Seems not too many people must order the "High Tea" because the waitress had to go in the back and ask about it. Anyway, isn't the painted scenery so cute and cheerful.
Hi, this is me (left) and my friend, Lisa, getting ready to start another travel adventure. See how happy we are?
This picture of my granddaughter was taken at an antique mall. The picture was taken because of the hat she was trying on, but look at all that great stuff in the booth? And the great prices? Why didn't I notice that when we were taking the picture?
Hello all you Blogsters! This is a test. I have been reading and following many of your blogs, and I wanted to join in. I feel like I know lots of you already! I hope you will let me join in the blogging and bare with me while I learn how to work this thang! :) I hope to post pictures soon, too. Thanks!
