Vintage Tablecloth Tablescape

I'm joining the fabulous Susan for Tablescape Thursday. Between Naps on the Porch is where you will find wonderful ideas for your table decorating.

Today, I'm doing a vintage inspired tablescape. It has springy colors, too.

Here's my inspiration. This pretty vintage tablecloth. I think I bought this tablecloth from Cindy's My Romantic Home Etsy shop.

The pink is a brighter pink, so I thought this bouquet of flowers would work well with it. I'm using a hodge podge for the rest of the centerpiece.

I finally got the Gollum dishes, and I just love them, too. I got them for $19.95, which is an unbelievable price to me. I felt I needed some more pink, but these dish towels were all I could find in this color. I wish I could have used something else.

I got these glasses recently at Target. I don't think they show up very well, so I put white napkins in them. They come in other colors, too.

Other side of the table.

Thank you for taking time to visit me today.

Your tablescape is so nice and bright, so fresh like spring, D. I love the colors. I see that you displayed your Bordallo Pinheiro tea pot, so pretty. The towels really work well, gorgeous tablecloth!...Christine

How pretty it all looks, D! I love the bright pink colors & putting the napkin inside the glass was a great idea to help the polka-dots show up better. GREAT JOB!!
You've reminded me that I have a vintage tablecloth of my Mom's. I should get it out & use it in a future TT. Thanks!

fondly,
Rett

You did a beautiful job, Donna. I love your tablecloth and everything complements it perfectly.

I especially love the bunny teapot and little ducks and bird figurines ... and the pretty green cabinet in the background is the icing on the cake! It all says, "Welcome, Spring!"

Love, love, love your tablescape. The more I looked, the more I found to love! Very clever to place your tablecloth on the diagonal. I think the pink towels are very charming. I have those very same Target glasses....in RED, of course! They made my hubby vary happy because most vintag glasses are too small for his taste. These are perfect!

GREAT POST!

I for one love your "hodge podge" centerpiece. Everything is cute as can be. Great job, and thank YOU very much for stopping by to see mine. :)
