Oh! I'm so sad. I just loved Fess Parker. I had such a crush on him as Davy Crockett when I was a kid. He died recently of natural causes. He was 85.
In 2004, I got to visit his winery and eat in his restaurant. I even got to meet him and shake his hand! This was such a thrill for me. I'm so glad I had this opportunity. His place is beautiful, and is located in Los Olivos, CA.

So sorry to hear about this. I had not heard of his death.
Hope all is well! Have a great Tuesday!

I did not hear he dies either! Peter Graves just died last week also, and I did get to talk to him on the phone once. I just love those guys and gals who were real movie stars. They had such class.
I really can spell, I meant "died" lol.
You will not even believe this...
I came to your site from Google Reader to leave a comment. You see, when my son was about two we lived in Tennessee. We would sing the Davy Crockett theme song to him, but substitute his name.
So, I get to you site and what do I hear? The theme song! You made my day!!! You actually brought a tear to my eye because my little boy is now 15!!!
Thanks!
I could see why you would have a crush on him! Sorry to hear he passed....seems as though he lived a very fulfilled life though.
