Vintage Christmas Carol Book

As a kid, I always remembered this beautiful picture of kids around a Christmas tree.  I couldn't remember the source, but I started looking on Ebay and was amazed when I actually found it.

It's from this Christmas Carols book published by Whitman probably in the l950's. I LOVE Whitman art!

As a kid, I remember trying to decide which little girl was the prettiest....The blonde or

the brunette.  :)  Actually they are ALL adorable.

I'm joining Suzanne at The Colorado Lady for "Vintage Thingy Thursday" Thanks for stopping by.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa, Please, please bring me this CUTE, red tea set for Christmas.
(Christmas Teas of Comfort and Joy)
Some red in the sunroom for this Christmas.
I love this Fitz and Floyd platter I found at Belk.  I got it half price, too.

I found this book at the flea market.  I mainly got it for it's cover, but it's got lots of craft ideas.
Some more reds in the sunroom.

I sure hope you have everything almost done and can sit back and relax.  I have one more gift to wrap.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY BLOGGY FRIENDS!

I'm joining Sue for REDNESDAY.

The gingerbread wreath, and the gingerbread garland were recent (really cheap finds - .25 a piece.

012
They fit in perfectly with the gingerbread tablescape I was already planning.  Gingerbread utensil holders are from Cracker Barrel this year.

010
I fell in love with this guy when I first saw him on "Kristen's" blog. I searched til I found him.

018Hello! Christmas is a great time for REDS! These are my mom’s vintage, l930’s ice skates. I just love them.

005I found these cute red trees at Target this year.

037This red star door decoration was a gift last year. Right up my alley. Smile

021A wonderful vintage, thrifty find this year. Love the Christmas scene.

018Another thrifty find at the flea market. Had to have this when I saw it.

029Look at these vintage, tin plates. Love them, too!
