Christmas House Tour

My computer was down so, I'm having to jam all my Christmas posts into one Giant one. I'm almost ready for the big Day!

 Presents are wrapped.

 Tree is decorated

 Mantle is finished

Stockings hung........

Living Room is finished......

I put lights on the windows of the sunroom this year.  Gives it a wonderful glow at night.

I set the little table in there using red and my blue willow.

Napkins were a wonderful "thrifty" find. So nicely starched and fresh!

This year, I added some little ornaments on the head board of the "red" bedroom.

These pillow cases were a wonderful thrifty find last year.

Here's the dining room tablescape this year.

It was inspired by this cute galvanized Yuletide bucket that my wonderful friend  gave me this year for Christmas. She has excellent taste, and knows what I love. :)

It worked so perfectly with the "thrifty" find table runner and placemats  I had already planned to use.  I got all 5 pieces for $4!
I also decided to get in on the "plaid" Christmas theme, which I love. I found these plates yesterday at Cracker Barrel for half off.

The cute Christmas tin is another gift from my friend.

Wish I knew how to do the fancy chalkboard stuff. :)

My FAVORITE gift my friend gave me. I had given her this Hallmark ornament in l989 when it first came out.
(We both love Christmas mice)

She found it on line for me this year. Love it!

This is a gift I bought for me. Love this F&F little platter!

Happy Christmas to All my Bloggy Friends!

I'm joining "The Scoop" this week, and "Met Monday" at Between Naps on the Porch,
and "Tweak It Tuesday" at Cozy Little House.

Christmas Dreaming

Hello, girls! I've finished my Christmas shopping, and I even got all the presents wrapped.
Like my my red shoes, hairdo and fur?

Oh, look at all my Christmas mail and packages. Like my new, green house? It'll do, I guess :)

I do love the neighborhood, and this beautiful snow really gets you in the Christmas spirit.

OKAY! I'm only DREAMING, but I DO have my Christmas tree up already. That's really early for me.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Fall Front Door

Hello.  I have so much enjoyed seeing all the front porch decorations you all have posted.

How I wish I had a big, country front porch like lots of you have.

But I just have to settle for what I have, and make it as "cozy" as I can.

All the flowers came from Lowes.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY TODAY.

Dreaming of A Cozy, Fall, Farmhouse Kitchen

If I had a farmhouse  kitchen, I'd want it to look just like this.

Especially in the FALL

Don't know about cooking on this stove, though.

I would love to sit in this chair and knit (if I knew how, that is :)

I'd decorate my hutch just like this!

These images come from my 2001 calendar that I have always loved. The artist is
Marcianne Wagner-Heaton (I hope she doesn't mind my sharing her wonderful artwork with you.)

I have posted a picture of this charming front porch before. Love it!

Oh my goodness. I've always wanted a window seat!

a place to have some tea and enjoy a good book...........

and how'd you like to have THAT view?  (Sigh)

This is her December page. A cozy log cabin (another of my dreams)

Can you get any cozier than this????

 Love this teapot and cup.

I just love Marcianne's art work, and I will always keep this calendar because I love it so much.
