A Last Minute Halloween Post

Here's a house all decked out for Halloween.

I wanted to share it with all of you.

Here's the graveyard. Spooky!!!!

Looks like this guy escaped from the bone yard. :)

RIP, you ugly old ghoulie!

Aieeeeeeeeeeee!

She even decorated the trees.

Uh Oh! Headless Horseman Crossing. I hope we don't run into him!

Yikes! There he is! Watch your heads, everybody!

And beware this ugly old witch. She's out looking for all the Halloween Candy.

Halloween Tablescape

Hi, bloggy friends! I've been out of pocket for a while. But today I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
I got these cute salad plates at Dillard's. They were my inspiration for this tablescape. The ghost one is my favorite. I'm using my "blood red" silverware today.

We are having "bloody Mary's" for starters.

This plate has a witch.

I've heard October is a busy month for spiders. Looks like they have been extra busy here. :)

We are having roasted rat for appetizers. Yummy!

and for the entree, fricassee femurs, french flies and eyeballs.

It's the witchy hour. Time to light the candles.

Placemats and other spooky stuff are from Dollar Tree.

Boo!

Have a Happy and fun Halloween! And thanks for stopping by.

Strivectin

Hi, bloggy friends! I've heard good things about this StriVectin stuff, so I'm trying it out. Have any of you tried it? Did you get good results?

The Yo Yo Quilt

Hello bloggy friends! Today I'm joining Cindy over at My Romantic Home for Show & Tell Friday. This is my first time to participate.

Do you like this quilt? I LOVE this quilt! And when I finally found it in one of my catalogs, I had to have it.

So I ordered it. But it wasn't cheap. With S&H it was $329! Yikes! But I had wanted a quilt like this since I found this "file" picture. (See below)

See? It's just like it. This pic is from a 2005 "Country Decorating Ideas" book. And it's just the cutest little "red" cottage you've ever seen. But then, after I had already received it from this "other" place, I found the exact same quilt at "Gooseberry Patch" for $150! Argghh!! That's HALF the price I paid at the other place. (beats head on wall) Oh well! I still love the quilt anyway. :)

Notice that pic on the wall above the bed? Yeah, I got that, too. :)

See?

Found it on Ebay.

It's an old advertising sign. Thanks for stopping by. I loved having you! Go to Cindy's for more Show and Tell.

A Great Deal

Hey, girls. I got this cute white pumpkin candle for free at Bath & Body Works.

All you have to do is buy at least $15, and you can choose between this pumpkin candle, or the pine cone or the acorn. They were all cute. I was going to spend $15 anyway, so I feel like I got a real "Thrifty Treasure" :) The candle is a nice size, too......about 5 inches tall with the top on.

Join Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality to check out all the other thrifty finds.

Met Monday

I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Met Monday. Pay her a visit and see all the other Met Monday posts. This is my living room. See the giant, blank wall by the tv? You can't tell, but the space is not very big, so I was limited as to what I could put there. So I tried this little white table there. I think it works good there. It's the same color as the tv cabinet and it has the same door style and even the knobs match. It still needs a picture or something on the wall above it, and maybe a plant or two on the sides, but I am pleased with the way it turned out so far.

I pulled out some pewter pieces I had, and decorated it for fall.

I love this little harvest angel. I got it today at Dollar General! They had another one that would work good for Thanksgiving. I'm thinking of going back and getting her, too. Thanks for stopping by. I loved having you! See you over at Susan's! :)
