I really couldn't fuss, since I  finally did consent  with the stipulation of "No Mascara!" thinking I'd be safe.



Boy, was I wrong!!!!! What a mess!!!!!

Strawberry Inspired

 I'm joining Susan's Tablescape Thursday today.


 I'm calling it my Strawberry inspired tablescape. (I finally got my Winter stuff put away in the DR today)


 Here's what inspired me.  I loved these strawberry placemats I found recently at an estate sale for a steal.

 Today, I'm using my new, red ceramic table rings. They are from a store I found on Ebay that I absolutely love! http://stores.ebay.com/Lake-Forest-Kitchen-Lady. She has the cutest vintagey looking stuff.

 I thought my strawberry plate fit right in.

 Red geraniums (not real) in my red coffeepot, and a few other reds and greens.

and I was all set.

Thrifting with Reds

 MY Valentine present was, that I didn't have to cook, so I went
antiquing/thrifting yesterday. Found this red handled biscuit cutter for $.50 and the red topped jar, which I have been wanting (although it was $10)

I love my RED rooster towel holder.


 Love polka dots. Found this small dish recently at TJ MAX

 My Favorite find from yesterday was these two embroidered pillowcases for $15 for the pair.

 I like them with my Yo Yo quilt in the "red" bedroom.


The pretty rose embroidered ones were from a yard sale. I Just love to find cute bargains!

These pretty strawberry placemats are a recent estate sale find. They were only $2 for 4 of them.

Valentine Table A Little Late

Hi, I hope everybody is getting ready for Valentine's Day on Tuesday.


I set my Valentine's Table in the Sunroom (I'm a little late for the Party)



I used my metal birdcage as a centerpiece, and the white doves fit in perfectly.

These two lovebirds fit right in with Valentine's Day.

See the Valentine cookies up there in the plate?


This is what happened to them after I took the pictures. hehehehehehe! Valentines cookies don't last long with a granddaughter around.

Lovebirds Tablescape

Well, it's dark already. I'm running late in joining "Tablescape Thursday" at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch.

Here is my inspiration for this Valentine's Table. 

I love the blue birds.


I wanted to use blues and reds, so my vintage tablecloth seem to fit  right in.


I used a few blue touches. Love my blue teapot.

A few Valentine touches on the counter.
