I had Room #9 all to myself, which I loved only it was supposed to be haunted. No encounters for me, thank goodness.

View from one of the marinas at Newport. It's such a beautiful place. No wonder the rich used it for their summer periods.

How'd you like to have this for your backyard view? (View from one of the huge mansions at Newport)

Newport RI is like turning back the clock. Luxury does still exist. What a lovely view from those mansions.

Newport is one place that has long been on my list of places I want to see. This all looked wonderful. Your room was wonderful.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but since you asked, I would have been too chicken to stay in it. I wouldn't have gotten a minute's sleep.

D, what a fun time you had! I adore that yellow house, too. I made it to Providence, but we didn't make it to Newport. I want to go so much. I'm glad you had fun.

Sheila
