Am I Too Late?

Hello, Bloggy Friends. I thought I was too late to post my July 4th Table, but I see some of you are posting yours so I'm posting mine. Thanks, Susan for for fun party at Between Naps on the Porch. See more over there.

We had our celebration out on the patio. I used my recently found red checked tablecloth, and we were very informal, using paper napkins and plastic glasses. (No wash later :)

Flower arrangement is from the grocery store, and I found these cute flag dishes at one of the local drug stores.

I used a few decorations for the patio furniture also.

The hydrangeas were in an ugly post, so I justwrapped it in blue tissue paper and added a red bow.

I love my new, red umbrella from Lowe's, and the light set for it is from Big Lots.

Time to light the candles and sit around, relax and enjoy the evening.

Thanks for taking time to stop by. :)
Donna

First thing to catch my eye was the white pitcher with the red, white and blue flowers.... like rooster I have a weakness for pitchers...the plates a really nice two....all of it makes a very pretty table setting. Trish

Thank you for your kind comments. The Bissinger's Chocolate Cups are available in a box of 12 from gourmet/specialty food stores. That's pretty much what makes them an 'easy' dessert. I find mine at Jamie's in Oklahoma City...already made and ready to go! You just have to make something to go inside them...even fresh berries with some kind of yummy sauce would be wonderful. I should advise you that the Bissinger Chocolate Cups are pretty expensive, and I only purchase them for really special occasions. You did a nice job on your Fourth of July table. I know that you must be excited about your new sun porch. You all did a love job. Your table looked like a great setting for an evening of fun! Cherry Kay

That all looks just lovely! I wish I could be just nearly creative as that, just beautiful.

I've got some pictures of the fourth that I've still not posted too, so maybe I can get to them before too long also!

Blessings,
Debra

What an inviting patio! I love the addition of the pillows to add more patriotic color (and comfort!), and scattering the cookie cutters was a great idea! A very appealing table! Thank you for stopping by my table this week, too.

I love those dishes with the flowers and flags! I haven't seen anything that cute at any local drug stores around here! And I'm all for easy paper goods too! Have a great day! Linda

It's never too late to post a patriotic table setting. This is darling. I think I will steel the idea of red checked tablecloths for next year.
Thanks

Beautiful red, white and blue tablescape! The pretty blue cushions on the furniture look great with it as well! It's so nice to be able to eat outside, especially on holidays! Great job!

A red, white and blue tablescape always works. I love your umbrella with the lights. It must be so nice to sit out there in the evenings.

Love the fresh, clean, patriotic look! The lights under the umbrella add a nice touch. Great candlelit shots -- love the reflection in the pitcher!
