Red, White & Blue

The table is set in the sunroom for TablescapeThursday over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch.

Let's have a closer look. I've used my white battenburg tablecloth today.

The table is all set with red, white and blue in keeping with the 4th of July.

Blue Willow dinner plates, white, Gollum salad plate, and the Blue Willow bowl for the place setting.

Centerpiece is an old milk bottle and a white and a blue pitcher.

And what did I used for the "milk"?.........................

Morton's salt, of course. :)
(Ebay find)

I just love my Fire King vintage juice glasses. Coaster from Dollar Tree

Hey! Where'd that red pitcher come from ? hehehehehe (I was trying different configurations)

And here's my inspiration picture. I fell in love with the colors of this house, which has been featured in several magazines I've seen. This one was in "Mid West Living".

Thank you for joining me today, and please join Susan's BNOP for other great tablescapes.

THANKS, SUSAN!!!!

I really like the fresh look of your sunroom. The table setting is very welcoming. (I also have that little salt canister.)

I've been thinking of getting a sofa like yours (it comes with a slipcover) and painting my walls a soft yellow. What paint did you use?

Talk to you soon ;)

Hi D, what a fantastic table! It has the vintage/retro feel that I really love, beautiful!
To answer your question, I bought the blue plates from TJ Maxx last year...on the back, it reads: Room Creative, Indigo, 2008 Signature Housewares Inc...you might be able to find some??? Good Luck!

Love the big font. I might could read it without my glasses.

Had a ball reading this post about cleaning. Every room in my house has stacks where I've started cleaning something and gotten distracted. And where am I now-was going to do a quick email check. Anyway, I will be back and read more of your lovely blog.
