Before, During and After

Today I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Met Monday. Visit her for more fun Metamorphosis pics.

Here's my living room all clean and decorated for Christmas. Now it's time to wrap my presents............................................

Aghhhhhhhhhhh! Can you relate to this? I bet most of you can. I always try my best to keep it organized, but it never works. I'm Always losing my scissors, tape and pen. heheheheh

Ahhhhhhh! That's better. All the presents are wrapped, and everything is "Metamorphosised" into neat and tidy again. :)

It's a good thing, too. Because I wouldn't want Santa to see it that way.

I want to say Merry Christmas to all my Bloggy friends! You are all such a great, sweet group of friends, and I enjoy visiting your blogs and sharing mine with you all so much.

LOL! I do relate, D. In fact, I left our kitchen counter with all the gift wraps, gifts, etc. all scattered on the counter since we had to leave for California. Your home is so nice and warm...Christine

My friend, you have a gorgeous living room and it's sooo beautiful all decked out in its Christmas finery! Ohhh...and the fire in the fireplace looks sooo warm and inviting! Your room looks very pretty and yes, I do make a mess wrapping presents, decorating, and baking. The whole season is messy, but very worth it ;}. Merry Christmas!

Stopping by from MM. I can totally relate. My post is similar to yours... but it involves my table being lost beneath laundry! :)
Merry Christmas!

This was great! And I do exactly the same thing when wrapping (forever losing scissors and tape and labels!). I'm glad I'm not alone.

I love a Christmas mess though! (The pre-wrapped gifts and the beautiful mess that comes with the unwrapping!).
Merry Christmas!
All the best,
Eileen

Ha! I had to laugh because I just cleaned up my den floor and it looked just like yours! Ditto on the always losing the scissors and pen. I also wind up not being able to find the end of the ribbon and wind up taking it off the whole roll just trying to find it!

Thank you for sharing the reality of those pretty presents. I'll be back to visit because we have something in common...I, too, am now a widow and have not met any in the Land of Blog. Peace and blessings to you this Christmas season.

LOL, my living room looks just like that "during" photo right now...but with two teenagers plopped into the middle of it. One is acting like an elf, the other is being a lazy beast and playing video games instead of helping.
Love the photo of you too- what fun!

Love your slipcovers and those hardwood floors sparkle! Yes, I can relate to all the wrapping everywhere and your picture made me smile. Your room looks very inviting and cozy with the fire going. Merry Christmas.
