Red Waverly Tablescape

The table is set in the dining room.

Hooray! It's Tablescape Thursday over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch. Join her for more fabulous tablescapes.

The tablecloth is from Waverly "Vintage Rose"

The dinnerware is from Walmart, but I still love it.

I used geraniums(fake) for the centerpiece.

For dessert, we are having homemade vanilla pudding with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

I added wisteria(also fake) and lace to the shelf on the hutch.

Seems I should have used this for last week, since it's red, white, and blue. :)

I love this little platter from Fritz and Floyd. It seemed to go well with the decor.

Sunlight on the table. :)

psst...............

Here's a little secret. I used this picture for my inspiration. I had downloaded it several years ago because I liked it. I called it "cute table" I was able to find the tablecloth on Ebay, and I already had the red and white napkins. I used red chargers instead of gold and I used different flowers, but all in all, I think it turned out pretty good...........even down to the pudding dessert.

Thanks for stopping by. I loved havin' ya!!!

Your tablescape is so pretty. I would love to do that, but usually my cat won't let me. She likes to knock dishes off my dining room table.

I love it when a plan comes together. I save a picture of a backyard deck for 10 years before we built it. I still love it (even though I just spent a week re-staining it)
The geranium on your table is a perfect choice.

I also think your tablescape turned out better than the inspiration one but isn't it great when we see a pic in a magazine and can "run with it"! I LOVE those white dishes and can't believe they are from Walmart. Your geranium looks real!

Oh, what a pretty table! I'm sure it will be used by many as inspiration, too. I love the way you mixed the blue and white with the red, and like the red chargers much better than gold.

I love that sweet little green china cabinet, too ... and your Fitz and Floyd platter is perfect with your tablescape. Everything went together beautifully.

How pretty! I love how you combined all the elements. We used to have that tablecloth. My son got some horrible model glue or something on it that never came off. Maybe I should search ebay - never would have thought of it! You are so smart to print out your inspiration pictures!
