Hello wonderful friends! Whenever I see something I really love in a book or magazine, the first place I look is Ebay.
I was able to find this green picnic basket and rooster egg cup to recreate this tablescape.
You know I LOVED this display in a store window, but the lady wouldn't sell me the "Laundry" linen.
Eureka! This is my latest I was so excited when I found this almost the same piece on Ebay.
Loved this old Bovril advertising print.

I was even able to find original Agree shampoo from the 70's
(I didn't pay 40 cents for it though heheheheh)
By the way, if anybody knows where I can find this mug, please let me know. Ebay let me down on this one.

have you looked at replacements.com?
or check Google images for a source..
I'll keep looking for you at Goodwill..
we have so many of them here in Denver..
I shall truly miss them once I'm moved to Florida...

I love that about Ebay, too. I can usually find what I am looking for. Only most of the time the price is more than I want to pay.
So after all of these years, did the Shampoo smell as great as it use to? I remember that stuff smelling great!
Great idea and great finds. I love those juice glasses and also the cute cup in your tablescape. So vintage and cheerful. It goes perfect with the green picnic basket!
Ebay is a good source... maybe someone will post the home sweet home if you keep looking. I will keep and eye out for it.
All this red made my heart sing, especially the red polka dot bowls. The "Home Sweet Home" cup is a treasure. I have been looking for a good coffee and tea cup.
