BBQ Red, White and Blue

006
Hello, Bloggy friends. I've set the little, red table in the SR with Red, White and Blue.
030
My inspiration (besides the 4th) were these cute, little placemats I found at Big Lots. They only had two left. :( Love the yellow rick rack for the mustard.

009
So I used my "stuff" to make the place setting. Plates are from a few years back.

I can't remember where I found the retro looking chair votifs, but I did get them this year.

Now, we'll go into the kitchen for some ice, cold watermelon .........................

I'm using my vintage tablecloth that I really love.

Here's my inspiration for this "watermelon" scape. This house "magazine" house is one of my all time favorites for ideas on red, white and blue.

PSSSSST...........................................wanna know a secret? I didn't have time to finish the sunroom in red, white and blue before I published this post, so I just "shoved the yellow and green stuff to one side.

I'm joining Susan's "Tablescape Thursday. Thanks, Susan for all you do! and
"Common Ground" for "Vintage Inspired Patriotic Party".

We won't tell your secret! :-) Very cute set up, and I really like the placemats. Isn't it crazy when places only have 2 or 3 of something you really like left? Maddening! They help create a great table for two, though, so no harm, no foul. The little retro chair votives are cute as a button!!! I can remember sitting in chairs like that at my Grandmother's house! The red one was always my favorite! Very nice! Have a good weekend!!!
