Getting Ready for Easter

I'm getting my table ready for Easter Sunday and joining Susan's Between Naps on the Porch for

"Tablescape Thursday".

I'm always amazed at the beautiful ideas you all come up with. See other great tables at Susan's.

I've set my table in the dining room, as I am expecting the "whole gang", Plus. :)

I'm using a bouquet of pink roses from my yard for the centerpiece.
I wanted to set a simple table for them, so I used a plain glass vase, and glass candle holders.

They smell so good, but I can't take credit for them. They were here when I moved in.

I'm using my thrifty cabbage plates and bowls today.

I'm using pink rose napkins (also a thrifty find) and my "fancy"

flatware.

I was lucky to find this matching salad serving set at T J Maxx.

I love the detail.

Candle light time.

Thanks for joining me today, I love it when you visit. :)

You made such a wise choice to let those beautiful roses be the star of your table. You've set a lovely Easter tablescape. I'm sure that your family will feel honored to sit at your table. Cherry Kay

I love the fact that it's not a casual table, yet the whimsy of those cabbage plates makes it playfully formal. That's a perfect mixure.

I love your flatware and would love some like that. I'm on the lookout. Haven't found anything close yet.

You obviously have a wonderful green thumb! I couldn't grow a rose if my life depended on it! It seems like they would be really hard. Heck...everything is hard for me when it comes to gardening! I try, I dabble at it, but I will never be as good as you apparently are. Kudos, and happy Easter!
