We left early on Friday morning. We even beat the sun coming up.
Here we are enjoying breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Me(on left, Pat, Cynthia and Jan)
This was my yummy breakfast. The first of many meals to come while on this trip. :)
Here's Jan and Pat relaxing on the rocking chairs, with their shopping goodies from the gift shop.
Guess what! I won $10 big ole dollars from the Power Ball Lottery. Yippee!
Lunch Saturday at the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge. I highly recommend this place!
They are famous for their corn chowder and apple fritters!
and thought it was such a fun idea.
Some pretty flowers at the near by local shops.
Then we went to the Spa! Ahhhhhhhh! Relaxing massages and mani and pedicures! Isn't it in a cute building???
Front porch of the spa right after our visit. Don't we look relaxed?
Time to eat again????? You're kidding. :)
Sunday, we were good girls, and went to a local church. Then time to eat at the "Apple Farm". More apple fritters with apple butter.
This place is called "The Christmas Place" in Pigeon Forge.
It stays decorated for Christmas all year, and it's beautiful. This is the lobby.
All the rooms are decorated for Christmas, too. And they all have Christmas trees.

I liked how they even decorated the lamps with bows. I think I'm going to use this idea.
Jan and Pat hamming it up for the camera by the icy, cold mountain stream.
Time to go home :( :( . Our last meal at "The Pancake House". We are all wearing our souvenier tee shirts.
I thought it was interesting that even though we bought the shirts at the same shop, we all chose different styles and colors.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the trip.

That looks like such a fun trip! Hubby and I were there about 10 years ago when our 2 youngest were 9. Course we spent a lot of time at the amusements to keep them happy. It would be fun to go back just as grownups. The spa part sounded heavenly!
Cindy
