Daisies

The table is set in the dining room again.

Let's go in and have a closer look.

I saw these plates on one of Susan's (BNOP) tablescapes, and fell in love with them. Luckily, I was able to find some pieces at a local antique store.

Closeup of my flatware (hmmmm, somebody needs to do some polishing :)

Aren't the cups cute? They just "sing" Spring.

My Mom's vintage, green glasses.

Of course, we have daisies for our centerpiece. The flowers are not real and neither is the baby's breath. I've had these sprays of baby's breath for years. They look and feel so real, too.

This little compote? was one of the pieces I found. Mom's vintage s&p ducks were just the right colors.

I redid my green hutch to match the colors of the table.

I found this pretty, white bird at Michael's for 40% off.

View from above. The sun was shining really pretty that day.

Time to light the candles. I wasn't using the lace tablecloth, at first. I think I like the table better without it.

Thanks for joining me. Please join Susan's Between Naps on the Porch today for all the fun.

Oh my word, I have a few of those daisy dishes (like 2 dinner plates, two cups and two saucers). Do they have "Italy" on the back? I don't remember where I got them but I have never seen any others. What a beautiful table you have done with them. The green glasses are lovely. It's all so perfect and springy.

So pretty with the table cloth or without. White pitcher with the daisies is my pick in this tablescape...but I still love the hutch. Trish

I love that daisy pattern, too -- so pretty the way you've arranged the dishes on the plaid placemat and with the green stemmed glasses! How lucky you also found that darling daisy compote! Perfect for spring -- gorgeous.

Splendid spring tablescape! Love the green and white with the daisy dishes. Once in a great while I see a single daisy plate at GW and will grab the next one I see. No one mentioned the teapot. I have one just like it and have found it so versatile in my tablescapes. Used to keep it packed up just for Easter but now use it for many occasions. Rabbits are always in!!!
