Red Fabulous Red

It's time for "Rednesday" again over at Sue's "It's A Very Cherry World" Thanks, Sue, for hosting.

I was excited to find this RED, retro looking high chair. I paid only $16! and it's in perfect condition. New, they are priced at $100.

I love that you can use it as a step stool, too. Goes great in my RED kitchen. :)

These bowls are a great find at TJ MAX. When I saw them, I had to have them.

Love the flowers inside.
(Look for these in my Thursday Tablescape)

I repainted these two birdhouses.

This was my favorite find this week, a vintage BHG Cookbook. $5!

I have a mini one in my doll house kitchen. :)

> And lastly, here's my dear, sweet Mom in her RED sweater. She's 94.
Thanks for visiting me, and for all your input about the size of the pics.
I think it was about 50/50. So, I think I'm going with the smaller size so it won't take so long to load. :)
D

I'm also joining Leigh's Thrifty Thursday at Tales from Bloggeritaville. Thanks, Leigh.

All such great additions for your red kitchen decor. I'm with you - I LOVE the older BHG cookbook for all the kitchens in my Sandwich Generation family. They have the older comfort food recipes the new one doesn't always have! :) I'll have to share your photo of your senior mom with my senior mom! Thanks for a lovely visit for Rednesday!

The red stool/chair is a blast from the past for me. My grandmother had one (of a different color) in her kitchen for me to sit on while we would bake together.

LOVE IT!!

That step ladder as we called them. is a great find. Do not see many like it anymore. I love the picture of your mom. I think it is great reaching that age. My grandmother lived to be 98.

Your Mom is so pretty, and doesn't at all look her age!
I've always wanted one of those red stools, but I just don't have the room in my kitchen. I think I need to get rid of my stove, so I have more room for fun and pretty things!
Happy REDnesday!
