Decorating for Spring

Today, I'm joining Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. Visit her for more beautiful decorating.

I have been decorating for Spring in my entry and dining room. I've had these pieces for several years. I love the pink tulips. They looked so real when I first got them, that my husband tried to water them.

Here's my little, green hutch. I love the little butterfly birdbath I got recently at Michaels for 40% off. That pitcher is very old. It's actually part of a tea set that belong to my mom when she was a girl.

One day, she and a friend were playing with it, and the friend dropped it, and most of the pieces were broken. The teapot is all I have left of it. :(

The birdbath close up.

And finally, here's the table in my entry. Happy Spring decorating to all of you, and thanks for stopping by.

Visit Marty for more great tabletops.

Your pink & mint green always lifts my spirits, D. What a lovely pitcher to have to remember your Mom by! Too bad about the other pieces.

I will post a photo of my green teapot that looks very similar to your Bordello Pinheiro pieces. Mine has the 2 rabbits facing each other so I'm thinking it might be a knock-off. It was a gift & is not marked so I can't tell for sure. I've seen one pitcher in the Bordello Pinheiro pattern that had the rabbits facing so I may be wrong. Let me know what you think.

fondly,
Rett

♥ your lace, too!!!!!

Oh wow, the tulips do look real. What a pretty vignette and I just love the cute little iron daybed that the birdhouse is sitting on. The teapot is such a beautiful heirloom. Gorgeous. YOur birdbath is so cute with the butterflies, I have a similar one with little birds. The display in the entry is so lovely. I really LOVE that plate. Stunning. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is wonderful eye candy. Hugs, Marty

Lovely little pitcher! I actually have that particular transfer on a few plates from about 1910. The colors are so delicate, aren't they?

I'm glad you were able to retain the pitcher as sort of a beautiful souvenir.
