Christmas Bargains!

Hi, Bloggy friends. I wanted to show you a few of the great bargains I got after Christmas.

Look at that cozy looking bed. Doesn't it look warm and inviting with those red flannel sheets?
I saw the sheets at Sears before Christmas at $70 for Queen, but I'm glad I waited til after Christmas because they were on sale for $19.99! What a reduction!

I don't usually like flannel sheets because they are too hot, but these were too cute to pass up.

See that cute snowman pillow? It went from $20 to $5!

Too cute! I'm going to go back and get the other that match if they are still there.

They are in my guest bedroom, but I think I might just have to try them out.
I'm sure I have "sweet" cozy dreams :)

Our Hallmark store is closing. :`( , but I did get this cute ornament at 40% off. Don't you just love the red bird and the cute, clay pots in the snow?

These snowman napkins were half price at Dillard's. I snatched them up quick.

Hmm! I'm already envisioning a future tablescape. :)

Lastly, I saw these napkin rings also at Dillards for half off. I think they can be either "fally" or Christmas.

Here's me modeling my adorable, red apron my best friend gave me for Christmas. She also gave me the cute candy cane picture.
I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Vintage Christmas Art

Hello Bloggy Friends. For this Vintage Christmas Monday hosted by Joan at Anything Goes Here, I'm sharing my love of vintage art........especially Christmas vintage art.

I've had these little reproduction Christmas bags for years. I just love to sit them around different places in the house, because I love the look of them.

Look at that sweet face!

Why is vintage art so pretty?

I found this bag this year while I was waiting in line to check out at TJ Maxx. Needless to say, I grabbed it as quick as I could. It was the only one I saw. :(

I've have my repro vintage Christmas platter for several years, and I just love it.

Usually, she sits on my Christmas mantel, but this year, I put her on my hutch in the dining room.
I want to wish all of you a very warm, and Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our dear Saviour.

Before, During and After

Today I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Met Monday. Visit her for more fun Metamorphosis pics.

Here's my living room all clean and decorated for Christmas. Now it's time to wrap my presents............................................

Aghhhhhhhhhhh! Can you relate to this? I bet most of you can. I always try my best to keep it organized, but it never works. I'm Always losing my scissors, tape and pen. heheheheh

Ahhhhhhh! That's better. All the presents are wrapped, and everything is "Metamorphosised" into neat and tidy again. :)

It's a good thing, too. Because I wouldn't want Santa to see it that way.

I want to say Merry Christmas to all my Bloggy friends! You are all such a great, sweet group of friends, and I enjoy visiting your blogs and sharing mine with you all so much.

My Christmas House

Hello and welcome to my home. Here's the outside of my house.

I've had my reindeer family for many years, and I just love them. Mama, Daddy and baby deer in the middle. :)

Come on in the front door. I'm glad you are here!

Here's my living room. I've got a nice fire waiting for you.

Come warm yourself by it. I just recently got this firescreen from Lowe's.

There's the tree over in the corner.

It's not real, but don't tell the tree that. :)

I got all my decorations from Walmart this year. I loved the way their display tree looked, but when I went to buy the ornaments, they were almost all gone, so the clerk told me I could "undecorate" the display tree; and that's what I did.

I love the texture of the reds and browns in the collection.

Now let's move on in to kitchen. It's red and white, so it's easy to decorate for Christmas.

I've had this teapot and cups for several years also. I'm sure it's a familiar pattern to lots of you.

Another view of the kitchen.

My stove and desk area.

This is a shelf in my kitchen eating area.

Here's my little, green hutch in the dining room all decorated for Christmas.

I put a few Christmas touches in my hall bath, too.

I just installed this cabinet over the commode. It looks so much better now.

Well I didn't show you all of my house, but I'm glad you came by to see me. I'm linking up to several parties for this post. Be sure to visit them all for more Christmas pictures and fun.

Breakfast With Santa

Come on in. We are having breakfast with Santa this morning in the kitchen.

Santa has his own special mug.

Gotta make the Big Guy feel special. :)

Everybody else has white cups.

The place setting is simple with the red and white plates from Dollar Tree (love those), my red and white napkins and red silverware from BB&B.

Santa Salt and Peppers. These came from Hallmark several years ago.

Santa coasters!

We are using Santa's favorite flowers for the centerpiece.

And here's what we are having for breakfast. Yummy! I do hope he likes it.
Thanks for stopping by. I loved having you. Please join Susan over at
Between Naps on the Porch for more great, fun tablescapes.
